Birth certificate
Birth certificate is an official document issued by the Civil Registry that contains the name, patronymic (in the case of citizens of some Slavic countries) and surname, birth related data of a person, such as date and place, full name of the parents and place of registration, among others.
A birth certificate is required for multiple formalities: obtaining and replacing a passport, residence permit or national identity card, working and studying in foreign countries, getting married, receiving social benefits and accepting inheritance, among others.
